Sending a Mail/Care Package

The Twin Falls County Detention Facility inmates are allowed to receive written letters in the mail from their family and friends. For safety reasons, all letters will be examined by jail employees when they arrive. The letters will get passed out to the correct inmate after the jail employees check them. 

There are a number of items you are not allowed to send when sending things to the jail along with your letters. Here is a list below:

The Twin Falls County Detention Facility inmates are allowed to get books, newspapers and magazines. The books, newspapers and magazines will need to be sent straight from the bookstore or publisher to the Twin Falls County Detention Facility. Sending Money

The Twin Falls County Detention Facility inmates will need money to buy things from the commissary. A cashier’s check or money order can be sent directly to the Twin Falls County Detention Facility if you would like to fund an inmates account. Make sure to make the money payable to the inmate. You will need to make sure you write the return address on the envelope if you are going to mail the money order or checks. You will need to give the money orders several days to be deposited into the inmate’s bank account.

Phone calls

The Twin Falls County Detention Facility inmates are allowed to make phone calls to their family and friends. The Twin Falls County Detention Facility inmates are not allowed to get any incoming calls.

Visiting Rules

The Twin Falls County Detention Facility inmates are allowed to have visitors. All visitors under the age of 18 will are allowed to visit, however, they will need to be with by their legal guardian.
